Marine litter on our beaches and in our seas may seem like an insurmountable problem. The MELTEMI project is working towards a transnational marine litter action plan, educating and actively engaging local officials, schools and communities in Greece, Cyprus, Albania and Bulgaria. This EU regional development initiative aims to enhance the local legal framework and capacity to mitigate marine litter pollution.
