Challenges

Whatever your cooking skills, we've got a challenge for anyone who likes eating! Take part our eating green challenges and share your results with us on @EUinmyregion. Ready to cook?

Eat less red, but more greens!
From falafel to fruit sorbet, there is plenty of delicious plant-based food options to at least partially replace the meat on your plate. They help you fight the environmental problems linked to animal products such as climate change and deforestation.
Not in season, not on my plate!
Asparagus, strawberries, pumpkin and red beets: Every season has a different range of fruits and vegetables on the menu. Local and seasonal food is climate-friendly because it does not need to be transported far or be grown in a greenhouse. It is also cheaper, tastier and more nutritious – and allows you to support local farmers.
The recipe for cutting food waste!
In the European Union, around 88 million tonnes of food waste are generated annually, with associated costs estimated at 143 billion euros.

Using both #DingDongEU & #Eating hashtags to share the results of your challenges, you agree that we can display your posts on this website.
